In conjunction with the Charleston Area REIA, we are going to start holding a monthly meetup that will feature presentations on real estate related topics. The meetings will be on the second Thursday of every month as we have normally done. October's meeting will be held October 12th. This meeting will be held, at least initially, at (Steptoe & Johnson, PLLC) on the Seventeenth Floor of Chase Tower. The address is 707 Virginia Street East, Charleston, WV.
Enter the main lobby and the elevators are at the back of the lobby.
The meeting will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
For our initial meeting, we plan on doing a meet and greet instead of a speaker. For future sessions, if you have any topics in mind, please let me know. We plan on doing some sessions on legal topics like asset protection, limiting liability, landlord/tenant law, collections, since we have access to attorneys at Steptoe & Johnson who have graciously offered to host our meetings and help provide some legal related presentations. Let me know if you have any other topics in mind that we can plan. They are planning on having light refreshments with snacks. I look forward to seeing everyone that can make it. It has been a while since we have met in-person and I hope that everyone has a chance to come.
I am going to try and setup a dial-in zoom call to record our meeting, but I am not sure of the capabilities yet to provide that. If I am able to setup, I will record this meeting as we always do if its possible.
